Prix de la Photographie 2026
The photography prize "Prix de la Photographie - Clervaux Cité de l'image" is awarded every two years.

Clervaux – Cité de l’image has launched the ‘Prix de la Photographie – Clervaux Cité de l’image’ in 2021 in collaboration with the Cercle Artistique de Luxembourg (CAL).
The prize was created to promote and raise the visibility of the art of photography in Luxembourg. After two successful editions, the project is being continued in collaboration with partners Cercle Artistique de Luxembourg (CAL) and Centre national de l’audiovisuel (CNA).
The Prix de la Photographie – Clervaux Cité de l’image honours contemporary photographers whose work stands out for its artistic quality, intensive research, innovation and originality.
The prize comprises two categories:
• Jury prize (worth €10,000)
• Audience prize (worth €2,500)
The 12 finalistes
The jury of the 'Prix de la Photographie - Clervaux Cité de l'image' has made its choice and we are delighted to announce the names of the 12 talented artists selected from a total of 93 applications for this year's prize and accompanying exhibition.
The selected artists caught the jury's attention with their recent contemporary photographic work, reflecting a wide range of style, research, innovation and originality.
The 12 finalists are Sébastien Cuvelier, Willi Filz, Véronique Kolber, Anna Krieps, Tine Krumhorn, Matthieu Litt, Sophie Margue, Erik Mathias, Bruno Oliveira, Armand Quetsch, Pit Reding and Nastaran Shirinsokhan.
