House of Belonging, 2023
I love cyanotype because of its blue and white colours, which create a poetic mood. The title of my series refers to a book of poems by David Whyte, from which the poem Sweet Darkness is taken. Since the suicide of my friend who suffered from white depression, Whyte's words have connected me to her. When I walk through the landscapes I travelled with her, images come to me, I travel to her, immerse myself in the vastness, question the clouds and the wind.
