Discrete, 2023

In today's digitally immersed world, technology's overuse yields to two effects: The illusion of being needed, loved, or entertained, and a loss of essential solitary moments and idleness. The photo series "Discrete" captures individuals in their private spaces at night, illuminated solely by digital screens, symbolizing loneliness amid tech's influence. It explores society's reliance on technology, hinting at its impact, especially considering the future with "intelligent machines."
