Description of the artwork
Figements I, II, III (2022)
This series of photographs is based on the idea of capturing an image through a wild yet gentle yet controlled dance between myself, the camera and the light. The camera becomes my brush and the light becomes my colour.
Each image remains a direct representation of reality. Apart from minimal adjustments, I have allowed myself neither post-processing nor image cropping.
The title Figements is derived from the French term for freezing or solidifying a moment.
