Description of the artwork
My photos of the new Düsseldorf prison provided me with an almost dystopian scenario. With the beginning of the pandemic, when people disappear from the streets and squares and a ghostly emptiness becomes tangible, I take these works out again.
They seem to me like a premature image of the lockdown. I put animals in them using image processing. Realistic, but not really possible, or is it?
The absence of people becomes even more obvious.
