"BOXED IN" ENCLOSED
The old, overused adage that you have to "think outside the box" is often used as a motivating phrase or even as an instruction, and this in very variable situations.
The recipient cannot help but ask: whose box? Is it my own, that of the person uttering the sentence, or that of the other people involved in the same "thought exercise"? The counterproductive effect is that you feel "locked" in your creative space right from the start.
Why don't you say: "Imagine ..." instead?
